Al aka Al E. Cat

On June 13, 2016 at 11:15 am “AI Pall” passed away on my lap at home on his favorite chair. Al was 10 yrs old. I was honored to a pal, caretaker, playmate, and dad for 9 yrs. Al found me 9 yrs at Petco in Eden Prairie. My ex wife’s cat Danny had just passed away, and we went looking for a cat for her. We went to several places, and as we passed his cage he reached out and grabbed me. We played a little….my finger and his foot. I picked him up and petted him, and he had me were he wanted me.

Al could be a knucklehead, but he was MY knucklehead! I left the shades partly up so he could look out all the windows whenever he wanted to. He loved to look for birds, squirrels, and especially other cats, but maybe on watch for intruders(he did a great job….we’re had none in 9 yrs). Al loved to jump up on things. Even up onto the refrigerator by first jumping on the table, and then some wall shelve(maybe knocking down a thing for two), and then over the top of the tv onto the refrigerator. This was his cave in the wall.

Al was full of energy and LOVED to play. He would push balls around on the floor and chase strings and feathers on strings endlessly.

I loved Al SOOO much, that it’s not possible to write this w/o crying. He is missed dearly, but I will always be thankful that he selected ME to be in and share his life.
