About Cinnabon
Passed on March 5, 2025
Adopted August 4, 2022 – Crossed the Rainbow Bridge March 5, 2025
“Cinnabon,” also known as “Baby Bon-Bon” and “Bon,” passed away peacefully in one of his
favorite places: in the arms of family on a flannel shirt. It was on a snow day, and his whole
family was at home.
Cinnabon joined our family on August 4, 2022. He was the birthday wish of 11 year old Preston,
and quickly won over even the most “rodent reluctant” members of the household. While he
began as a little boy’s birthday gift, he truly became a treasure to our entire family. The moment
we saw him at the pet store, we knew that he was the perfect hamster. Cinnabon’s evenings
were spent out of his cage enjoying his favorite lettuce and the occasional carrot, while rotating
from lap to lap. He would often become so relaxed that he’d turn onto his back, feet in the air, as
he peacefully fell asleep on us. He enjoyed running on his hamster wheel, time in front of the
living room fire, and exploring the various obstacle courses that Preston built for him.
Pictures of Cinnabon’s life were adored by many on social media. We were often told that
Cinnabon needed his own fan page! He was a tiny animal who brought huge joy. While out in
the community, one of the first things people ask us is, “How is Cinnabon?”
Cinnabon is proceeded in death by golden retriever, Ava, and several fish. He leaves behind his
Daddy, Preston, and the rest of his family: Ryan, Lisa, Alexis, and guinea pigs Oatmeal and Leo.
Cinnabon, you will live in our hearts forever. We will miss your incredibly soft fur and your sweet
aspen chip scent. Thank you for being such a special part of our family.
In Cinnabon’s memory, we ask that you take some time today to make the life of an animal
better through an extra fur baby hug, an extra treat, animal advocacy, or even a donating to
cause for animals. Thank you for reading about our boy
