About Georgie Gerdes
Georgie was my first baby, she came home with me at about 4 months old and was just shy of her 15th birthday when she passed away this past March. She was full of spunk, silly, playful, loving, way too smart, and always up for an adventure or a nap. She came on hikes with us, camping, kayaking, and many many car rides. She loved the snow, absolutely loved it, and would burrow and roll and snort in it until she was covered in it, especially her face so that you couldn’t even discern there was a little face in there. She loved hard-boiled eggs, hamburger, and licks of my ice cream cone, she loved shoulder and neck scritches, following us around the house, and her “chippy”. She was the best little buddy and the goodest girl and I miss her presence in the house and her beady, black eyes constantly on me wondering what I’ll do next. The house and life just isn’t the same without her but her little body needed to be at peace and her kidneys just couldn’t keep her going anymore. It’s comforting to think about her with all the other beloved pets who have crossed over and to know that she’s happy and furever young living her best puppy life. Until we can be reunited again, love you, Georgie girl. <3
