Gus Skogman

Gus Skogman
April 2001 – June 2021

We said goodbye to our Gus as he crossed the rainbow bridge on June 9, 2021 at the age of 20. Gus was also lovingly known as Gustopher, the Gus man and Tina (my husband nicknamed him this which I found silly, but Gus would respond to it). He was a one-person cat up until 2018 when we got married. Not only did he adjust well and learn to love and trust John, he also tolerated our dog Archie and liked to show him on a daily basis, that he was the boss. Gus was feisty but also very loving and cuddly. He was obsessed with water and would drink out of any sink in the house any chance he got. He also loved to bask in the sun, lay on his purr pad and enjoy a kitty treat or two. We also discovered purely by accident that he loved lemon cookies.

We loved him so much and are thankful for the many years of memories we have. He brought so much happiness to our home and we miss him dearly. Until we meet again our sweet boy Gus.
