Henry Vansteenburg

Our beloved Henry left us suddenly and unexpectedly on July 5, 2023.

Henry was a big, sweet fluffy boy. He loved to snuggle really close to you, lay on your legs, or wanted to crawl under the covers to be closer to you.

Henry came to us as a foster when he was 3 weeks old. He stole our hearts and never left us until that final day. And while we loved him for 11 years, it doesn’t seem fair that he was taken from us so soon.

Henry was loved by his fur brother and sister Charlie and Irene. And even with them still in the house it is so quiet without him in it.

Your patches of fur that you would leave behind after snuggling – we miss.

Your spurts of energy – we miss.

Your fluffy tail wagging in our faces – we miss.

Your love of bags and boxes – we miss.

Your sweet kisses turned into bites – we miss.

Your bedtime snuggles – we miss.

Calling for you and you come running – we miss.

Calling you all your many names – Boob-bee, Hen, Henny, Henny Benny, Big Hen, Fluff-a-nuff-a-gus) – we miss.

You are forever in our hearts. You will be remembered with laughter and smiles. We know you are running and playing with the animals that have gone before you. We love you and miss you terribly. Thank you for being our Henny Benny!
