Jackson Smiley

Jackson boy, it’s heart breaking you are no longer with me. Born May 13, 2009 in Jackson, TN, he filled my heart with joy these past 11 years. He recognized significant vocabulary, understanding most of what I was saying to him. He took his younger collie brother, Barkley, under his wing and helped train him from the day he came to us. He caught on to ringing the bell to go out immediately, becoming very frequent when the snow had fallen. Unfortunately, our time ending too soon. I will never forget the lick on the chin he gave me just before his passing. A gentle, true companion, he will be forever missed.
