About Jasmine “Jazzy” Jost
Jasmine “Jazzy” Jost
Jasmine lived to be over 17 years old. She was loved by her mom (Saura), dad (Johnathan), brother (Jaire), kitty sister (Jewels), and many other extended family members. She was originally adopted by Leela, Saura’s sister, as a kitten with her litter mate, Jewels. The sisters were separated shortly after when Saura adopted Jewels. Ten years later, they were reunited when Saura babysat Jasmine for Leela and they decided it was best to keep them together.
Jasmine was overjoyed to be reunited with Jewels and they became fond of each other again over time. They loved chasing each other, taking naps side by side, looking out the window together, and having a kitty companion. The kitties enjoyed cuddling with Saura and Jasmine always had to be sitting closer to Saura than Jewels. When Saura and Johnathan met, Jazzy was grateful to finally have her own human to snuggle. When Jaire was born, Jazzy immediately took to him and wanted to protect him. Even as a senior kitty, Jazzy had plenty of energy to keep up with Jaire as he grew into an energetic, mobile toddler.
Jazzy was a sweet, affectionate kitty who loved attention and snuggling as close as possible to her humans. If she could not be lying on us, she wanted to watch whatever we were doing nearby. She had a lot of personality and was a spunky girl with a playful meow. We are thankful that she was a part of our family and enriched our lives with her love. She will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her but will always be in our hearts.
