About Junior
A letter to our beautiful Junior up in heaven.
In 2003 our family was blessed as we adopted you into our family. From the moment we met you, you were the happiest, loving dog a person could know. Walking through the door you greeted us with kisses so plentiful. You were there with us through everything, and loved with a love so unconditional. From playing ball, going on walks and endless cuddles, you were always there with constant love.
We recall the day 5 years ago when you were first diagnosed with your blood disease, how you fought and beat your disease. You showed the world, it wasn’t your time to go. Through all the shots, and medicine you would still come home with a smile on your face. Soon enough you became healthy again. And we celebrated, for we got blessed with more time with you. And we are forever thankful for that. Whenever you’d see someone sad, you’d nudge your little nose under our hand to provide comfort. You never failed to be there. You were the fluffiest funniest puppy ever. I say that because even as you aged, you never showed it. You were such an upbeat dog, always ready to play.
As years went by, we knew that one day, your day would come. On February 28th, 2017 we learned your disease had returned. You began taking your medicine again, never failing to since you got hamburger every time it was time to take your pills. Your absolute favorite treat. We were told that we didn’t have much time left with you, so we made you as comfortable as possible. But once again you defied the odds. They gave you about a week, but you still had a month and a half left in you. You were the toughest little fighter ever.
Wrapped up, cuddling with Mom and Krystal, you took your final breath, and laid to rest. As you passed we told you how much we all loved you. Mom, Dad, Collin and Krystal all love you so much Junior. We knew it was your time and you had fought with every thing you had. But now you’re at peace.
You taught us all the meaning of true and innocent love. You blessed this family with 14 beautiful years. The best puppy dog a family could have. We know you’ll always be with us in our hearts. We’ll remember you as the smiley, playful, happy Junny we knew and loved. Heaven gained an angel on April 12th, 2017. But we had an angel from the moment we got you, until your last day with us on earth. To our precious babykinz. May you Rest In Peace JunJun. We love you always and forever.
