About Katelynn Marie aka “Pretty Girl”
Passed on April 16, 2016
I had the privilege of being Katelynn’s mom for 17yrs. If it wasn’t for her to run away when she was a month old, I would never been able to have her. She was supposed to go to Iowa to a farm but she ran away and thanks to Donnie he found her and asked if I wanted to keep her. I was so excited I skipped work just to go buy all her stuff at the store. I brought her home and my kids where never happier. Having Katelynn really completed us as a family. It didn’t take long for her to get used to us and become a member of our family.
Katelynn was the most cuddliest cat in the world. When anyone got sick she would lay right next to them or when any of us felt sad she was always right there to cheer us up. Most importantly we will miss Katelynn being under our feet whether we are in the kitchen, living room or bathroom. Katelynn was always that cat that needed to follow you everywhere. Katelynn would greet us at the door with lots of meowing when we got home, which was the best way to come home.
The kids miss her cuddles & her loud mouth meowing and I miss her waking me up at 4am with meows so loud it could wake the whole neighbor hood just so she could eat. I will miss my night time cuddles with my Katelynn. Max our 3yr old Cat is now sad he does not have his playmate. Katelynn would bat around Mr. Whiskers (stuffed mouse) and Max would chase after her. They definitely fought like siblings.
The void in our lives is still filled with very happy memories of Katelynn, we all know she is in a great place with my mom (Nancy) and being well cared for. Till we meet again my pretty girl.
Our beloved Katelynn will always be in our hearts forever and will always be part of our family.
RIP Katelynn Marie/Pretty Girl
Love you always & forever
