Kit, I have so much enjoyed being your cat mom. You have such a strong spirit, a big personality, and I love how much you love to play and explore. As I moved across the country twice to embark on new life adventures, you came with me. In our trek in the moving truck when I just got you and we were still getting to know each other, you were so calm and confident, and you had so much wonder to encounter new experiences. I love how much you love to meet new people. I love your adorably small ears and petite size. I love your sweet squeaky meow and how you would nudge things on my desk in the morning to make noise so I would wake up. I love how playful you are. I enjoyed your company when you sat by the kitchen and watched me learn how to cook new things. I enjoyed our walks in many different parks and in the common spaces in the apartment building. I loved seeing you break loose and run fast on the big sun deck. I loved seeing how excited you got when there were birds on the patio. I loved hearing you chatter at them, and I loved watching how laser focused you were when you would stalk them. I’m so glad you got to catch one in the park, even while on a leash. I loved watching you jump to really high places. I loved watching you climb trees and use them as scratching posts. I love how much you enjoyed our camping trip last summer, and I’m sad that I will not be able to take you camping again or on other exciting adventures. You taught me how to be a cat mom, and you inspired me to embrace life. I miss you very much, and I will never forget you. You are my sweet, spunky, fearless little peanut.
