3.5 years ago my sister, nieces and I went to the humane society in St. Paul. We wanted to look at all the dogs that were there. We say this sad 4 year old hound mix dog sitting in his kennel. My sister asked if I wanted him. I looked at him and thought he seemed ok but very sad. We asked the staff if we can take him for a walk. We walked him down a couple of blocks and came back to the shelter. We spent about an hour with him debating if we wanted to adopting him. After some discussion we decided to adopt him. The first night we brought him home he took off and ran down the street. I ran after him just finding him down the block of the street. I put his leash on and brought him back to the house. Since that night he has become my best friend, my partner in crime, and my companion. Max I love you so much! You have taught me so much in life, taught me how to enjoy running outside, force to do more walking, learned B to enjoy hiking, and to just enjoy the outdoors. All these will not be the same without you anymore! Since you’ve been gone I have miss you so much and everyday! Coming home isn’t the same anymore, I miss your smiling face as I come home and your energy in the house. Know that I love you very and miss you every day! You are in a better place now and we will meet again. I love you Max! ❤️
