Peanut A.K.A PePe

Peanut left this physical world on September 14, 2015 but she will forever live in our hearts. The house has been left with a gaping hole and now sits completely somber. You were a little dog with a huge presence and we miss you more every day.

We rescued Peanut from a Puppy Mill after living for years in a cage having multiple litters of puppies and suffering from many physical ailments. After much medical attention, she was finally able to come into our home to be a dog. In so many ways, she has changed us all for the better and today I am left to wonder who rescued whom. Peanut spent 14 years with our family and as I write this, I wonder how I will learn to do life without her. I miss her every little look, her following me from room to room (even until her last day), and her nightly run around the living room that shook the house as if she were a T-Rex.

The only comfort I have is knowing that she will no longer need to live in her little failing body and is now pain free.

Please don’t let Peanut die in vain; rescue your new best friend, you will be so happy you did.
