Pippi (Pip)

Pippi was born on April 14, 2015 in River Falls, Wisconsin & passed away on July 3, 2023 at the University of Minnesota Large Animal Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.

She spent eight happy years on her family’s farm in Somerset, Wisconsin. Pip was raised alongside her brother  BB who was born three days after she was born.

Pippi was a very funny goat. She was stubborn, bossy, playful , and loving. She enjoyed playing with BB and eating apples that had fallen from the apple tree next to her pasture.

Pippi’s favorite person, was her Mom, Kim. She would forgo eating, exploring, and playing just to lovingly stare into her face. They had a very special relationship and bond.

Our family will miss her joyfully leaping into the air, her grunts and spits, and mostly her presence. We feel very sad that she is no longer with us, but we are happy she doesn’t have to suffer with the tumor that was inoperable in her abdomen.

BB more than anyone misses Pippi’s company. He spent the past eight years 24/7 by her side. We hope to find him a new companion so he can live out the rest of his life with another goat.

Pippi was her Momma’s dream come true as she always wanted a little doe. Our lives were blessed to have Pip in them and we will miss her always.
