Sophie

Sophie came into this world on Dec 13, 2006 and into our hearts on Feb 18, 2007. In her short time here she welcomed our 4 granddaughters into this world with open paws and heart, and watched over these babies as if they were her own.

Sophie was a very brave, strong and proud girl. She enjoyed going to the lake, going for walks, and drives, belly rubs, sleeping in our bed, chasing squirrels out of her yard, and of course, watching out the window for the babies to come visit her. She was never totally at ease until myself, my wife and our son were all home safely for the day.

On April 15, 2013, after a courageous 3 month battle with kidney cancer and with the deepest pain we have ever felt, she left us to go wait at the rainbow bridge with her mommy.

Sophie could never be replaced and will forever be loved and missed deeply. Until we meet again . . .
