Stewie

Stewie went home to the Lord on Monday, November 30, 2015. He had diabetes and complications from the disease took his life. He was six years old.

Stewie blessed our family with love and happiness for 6 years. He enjoyed chasing bunnies, barking at the TV, and sleeping under the Christmas tree lights. He was known for snuggling up and falling asleep as I read him a bedtime story. Stewie’s gentle nature made him a friend to everyone. He loved his humans, Grant, Morgan, Grandpa, Auntie Patti and Mom. He loved his canine friends too. Stewie and his best friend Gino would have late night conversations outside and were always excited to play together.

There was always something special about Stewie. He came into our lives during an especially difficult time, just weeks before Grant died at the tender age of 12. Now Grant and Stewie have been reunited in heaven. I am thankful and blessed by the joy Stewie brought to our lives and he will always be remembered with happy and loving memories.
