Suri Leitschuh

Our sweet Suri, a six-year-old mini Australian Shepherd we adopted in 2017 after our beloved 17-year-old Sheltie, Lily, passed away. We called you everything but your real name (Sur Sur, Sha Sha, Puppers, Poopers). I wasn’t sure about getting another dog right away, but our house was so empty I couldn’t bear it. I committed to bringing an older rescue into our lives and I chose you. With your beautiful blue eyes and your fluffy fur you walked into our home like you lived there your whole life! We found out you were from Oklahoma so we hoped you would get used to our very cold winters, and you did. Suri was a squirrel chaser and loved to eat. You got lots of attention everywhere we went and you deserved it. We miss you and love you.
